Adventurous India: Promoting Indian Tourism
The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India and India Tourism offices in U.S. and Canada hosted a five-city road show for travel professionals interested in learning about India’s travel options for active travelers. The roadshow held Oct. 2-10, in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver and Toronto, involved detailed presentations by ATOAI and India’s Ministry of Tourism. It offered the opportunity for travel professionals to meet with India’s leading adventure travel organizations, while exploring India’s unique mosaic of natural beauty, outdoor activities, rich culture and history. The San Francisco event held at Hotel Nikko, Oct. 3, also featured a discussion on Indian visa availability and processing, and sumptuous food by New Delhi restaurant. A Siliconeer report.
