Paneer Sandwich Pakora. (Amar D. Gupta/Siliconeer)


You can serve it with Chai, serve it with drinks, or just serve it by itself. This snack is a favorite appetizer for all ages, and it’s super easy and fast to make, writes Chef Sanjay Patel.


Ingredients:

2 pkts. paneer cheese (8 oz. each)

½ cup mint chutney

Batter:

2 cup gram flour

½ tsp. chili powder

½ tsp. garlic paste

½ tsp. salt

pinch of baking soda

½ tsp. crushed cumin

Method

In a bowl mix gram flour, chili powder, salt, garlic paste, cumin and water, mix with your hand to make batter.

Cut thin slices of the paneer 1½ inch by 1½ inch.

Spread prepared chutney between two slices of paneer cheese.

Heat oil in a frying pan, dip the paneer cheese sandwiches into the batter, deep fry till golden brown on medium heat.

Delicious paneer sandwich pakora is ready. Serve hot.
