Deepka Lalwani


Deepka Lalwani by profession is a Realtor with Intero Real Estate. She has diverse accomplishments and many Firsts. After finishing her MBA from SJSU, to continue helping other women like her, Deepka founded Indian Business & Professional Women. IBPW became a pioneer organization to network, mentor and empower women. She was the first Indian to be the President of Milpitas Chamber of Commerce and led many successful business events. Deepka is a grass root activist, member of SCC Democratic Party and founder of Milpitas Democratic Club. Her focus is on women and minorities. Her leadership quality led her to become a senior fellow of American leadership Forum. She came a full circle when she was invited to join the advisory to Dean of Lucas School of Business, SJSU. Deepka has many awards to her credit: Asian American Hero, Pacific Asian Hero and Milpitas Citizen of the year to name a few. Deepka likes to quote Helen Keller,  “World is not moved by one mighty push but the aggregate of all tiny pushes”
