The shoot of “Takadum,” a romance starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra, has been pushed to the end of the year and there were reports that the delay came because the director was busy making modifications to screenplay due to similarities in the story’s setting and that of “ADHM.”

“It’s nothing like that at all. We just felt that we needed to rework certain angles, mainly on the structure of the screenplay to improve it. Once this is done and we are happy with the changes, we will commence the shoot process,” Homi addressed the speculation in a statement.

His last release was “Finding Fanny” and this is the first time he has teamed up with Sushant and Parineeti. Sushant and Parineeti are reuniting after “Shuddh Desi Romance.”
