The 50-year-old actor says the book made him realize people should focus only on one thing at a time and that idea changed the direction of his own company, Red Chilies Entertainment.

“At Red Chilies Entertainment, I was involved in multiple businesses. But after reading the book (on Steve Jobs), I realized that focusing only on one thing will help,” SRK said.

“So, we stopped TV and ad production and focused entirely on films and visual effects,” the actor said while interacting on #fame, a live entertainment application.

Shah Rukh, however, does not completely agree with all the rules given in the book.

The “Dilwale” star revealed that another author Malcolm Gladwell’s book “Blink” is about doing business.

“The book explains that in a competition, the guy who blinks first loses first.”

The “Fan” actor recommended Blake Snyder’s “Save the Cat” for all aspiring writers.

“This is one of the best books on screenplay writing that I have read so far.”

It was during his shoot for Yash Chopra’s “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” in London when he got several copies of E.L. James’ erotic-romance “Fifty Shades of Grey,” which he is yet to finish reading.
