Sonam, 31, who has often spoken about her wish to act in Hollywood, tweeted about the new partnership.

“Super duper chuffed to sign on with #unitedtalentagency! I know this is going to be an epic partnership!” she wrote.

No more details about the prospects of this development have been out yet.

UTA handles international stars like Mariah Carey, Chris Brown, Kanye West, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Benedict Cumberbatch, Susan Sarandon, Harrison Ford, Owen Wilson, Michael Douglas, Gwyneth Paltrow, Channing Tatum, Anthony Hopkins, Mark Ruffalo and Daniel Radcliffe.

Priyanka is being handled by WME, while Deepika is signed with CAA.
