The Andhra Pradesh Non Resident Telugu society team recently visited San Jose, Calif., after completing their Canada tour. Ram Naresh Danda and Sagar Doddapaneni welcomed the team at San Jose airport. The team later visited the BIO-2016 convention at Moscone Center in San Francisco. The APNRTS team met with several Biotech entrepreneurs at the convention where Dr. Ravi Vemuru, has explained the opportunities available in Andhra Pradesh and the specialized industrial parks available for interested entrepreneurs.

A press meet was later held at Sakoon, in Fremont, Calif., where Dr. Vemuru explained the objectives of the APNRT society and the services provided by it for the non-resident Telugus.

Buch Ram Prasad, Chief Coordinator of APNRTS explained the Temple Visit and Documentation facilities provided by the society for the NRTs. Kanuri Seshu Babu talked about investment opportunities available in Andhra Pradesh and showcased the NRT iCon Project which is designed as a monument for the contribution of Non Resident Telugu diaspora, in the progress of the Andhra Pradesh.

Significant interest was shown by attendees and public who attended the event. Later an investment meeting was held with the members of ITServe, Bay Area Chapter where Dr. Vemuru presented various incentive options and highlighted the e-pragati opportunities of up to Rs. 3,000 crores available from Andhra Pradesh. Several participants have expressed their interest in setting up operations in the Amaravati Region.

Srinivas Devella, Tulasi Tummala and Kameshwar Vempati were among the dozens of entrepreneurs present at the meeting.
