The duo has been plagued with wedding rumors for the last one month, with reports also suggesting that the “Bajirao Mastani” co-stars are already engaged.

Deepika, 30, who was the showstopper at ace designer Manish Malhotra’s couture show in Delhi, took the opportunity to set the record straight about her personal life.

“I think this is the right opportunity to clarify for everyone, there is no such plan (to get married). I am not pregnant, I am not having a baby, I am not engaged. I am not married and I am not planning to get married any time soon,” the actress told reporters.

Deepika closed Malhotra’s Persia-inspired collection here last night and looked resplendent in a red and gold heavily embroidered lehenga-blouse set.

When asked about who she considers as her style icon, the actress said, “My mother is my fashion icon. She has had a very strong influence on me. She is always dressed very elegantly yet it is simple. I also love her color palette.”
