Richa Chadha’s performance in “Sarbjit” has been applauded by critics even though the actress did not have many scenes in the Oumang Kumar-directed movie. (@Siliconeer, #Siliconeer, #Bollywood, #RichaChadha, #Sarbjitthefilm, #AishwaryaRaiBachchan)

Chadha, 29, said the makers had to shorten the length of the movie and so some of her scenes ended up on the cutting floor.

“I had more scenes in the movie but they were cut for the duration of the movie. That happens. When an actor like Aishwarya has 20 scenes and six of them get cut, she still has 14 scenes.

“Now, if I have 10 scenes and 8 of them got cut, then I have only 3-4 scenes. But I am not complaining. The reviews have been stupendous. I have always been confident of my work.

It does not matter. But I feel it would have helped the film a lot more if they had kept the scenes,” she said.
