Taking a more cinematic approach, ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ strikes a strong chord with society’s current struggles with insecurity and identity. Ananya Pandey’s character is driven by jealousy and insecurity to create another identity on social media. Siddhant Chaturvedi’s character has commitment issues and represses emotions driven by past trauma. Adarsh Gourav’s character portrays an inferiority complex with a strong desire to have it all. All three characters are driven by imposter syndrome stemming from the perils of social media.

Increased social media usage has long been correlated with negative mental health. Although our generation of users are more connected than ever, we feel lonelier and more insecure than ever. The movie encapsulates this whole concept around three very close friends.

Beautifully portrayed by Bollywood newbies Ananya Pandey, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Adarsh Gourav, the movie has been receiving praise from many critics.
