The preserve has about 348 acres of rolling hills, oak woodland and serpentine rock outcroppings. Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve, opened it’s doors to the public June 27, is one of the many ambitious plans by the Santa Clara Open Space Authority (OSA) to acquire, preserve and restore the natural resources of Santa Clara Valley.
