If you missed the theatrical laughter riot of “De De Pyaar De 2,” don’t worry—it’s coming home soon. Released Nov. 14, the sequel brought back the beloved and chaotic couple Ashish (Ajay Devgn) and Ayesha (Rakul Preet Singh), but this time with a twist: meeting the parents.

In this “Pyaar vs Parivaar” clash, Rakul shines as she introduces her older boyfriend to her family, with R. Madhavan stealing the show as her disapproving father. While the film is currently in its final theatrical leg, reports suggest that the movie will stream on Netflix. Fans can expect the digital premiere in early January 2026, making it the perfect New Year binge.

Rakul was last seen in “Mere Husband Ki Biwi” alongside Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. What’s next? The actress isn’t slowing down. Fresh off the success of “De De Pyaar De 2,” she is gearing up for another big ensemble comedy, “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do,” starring alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Sara Ali Khan. “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” is slated for a Holi release on March 4, 2026.
