As Siliconeer celebrates its 25th year in operation, the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards will mark its 25th anniversary with a grand celebration in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on March 8-9, 2025. This year’s theme, “Silver is the New Gold,” pays tribute to IIFA’s legacy while embracing the future of Indian cinema.

The festivities will begin on March 8 with the Sobha Realty IIFA Digital Awards, co-presented by NEXA, recognizing excellence in OTT and digital entertainment. The main IIFA Awards ceremony will take place on March 9, celebrating the best of Bollywood in a spectacular star-studded event.

The official Mumbai press conference featured top industry names, including Shah Rukh Khan, Kartik Aaryan, and Nora Fatehi, who expressed excitement for the Silver Jubilee edition. 

IIFA 2025 aims to unite talents from Bollywood, South Indian cinema, and OTT platforms while offering unforgettable performances, glamorous appearances, and industry-defining honors.

Not Done Yet, Kartik Aaryan Keeps Signing 

After the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is set to captivate Bollywood fans with more. 

Scheduled to commence filming in March 2025, Kartik Aaryan will collaborate with acclaimed director Anurag Basu. Aaryan will portray a quintessential romantic hero. While initial reports suggested Triptii Dimri as the female lead, recent speculations indicate potential casting changes. The movie is yet to hail a title as the Bhatt’s family still hold rights to the Aashiqui franchise.

Following the Basu project, Aaryan will team up with director Sameer Vidwans for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, produced by Karan Johar. Set to begin filming in May 2025, the film has cast Ananya Panday as the female lead, reuniting the successful on-screen pair from Pati Patni Aur Woh. Notably, Aaryan has expressed a desire to collaborate with Sharvari on a future project, potentially a sequel to Pati Patni Aur Woh.

‘Snake’ Nora Fatehi on Fire

Nora Fatehi, the global dancing sensation, continues to captivate fans globally with her latest collaboration, “Snake,” featuring Jason Derulo. Within 24 hours of its release, the electrifying music video amassed an impressive 75 million views, securing #2 among the most viewed videos worldwide within 24 hours.

Building on this momentum, Nora is already hinting at another major international collaboration. She recently shared tantalizing photos on social media with renowned producer Tommy Brown, known for his work with artists like Ariana Grande, and Grammy Award-winning songwriter Theron “Neff-U” Feemster, who has crafted chart-topping hits for Bruno Mars and ROSÉ. In her post, Nora teased, “This how ‘A boss sit down’ look like.. We cooking.. 2025 is about to be …,” suggesting that an exciting project is in the works.

Nora’s international singing career has witnessed remarkable milestones, from her electrifying performance at the FIFA World Cup with the song “Light The Sky” to collaborations like “Pepeta” with Ray Vanny and “Dirty Little Secret” with Zack Knight. Her recent success with “Snake” further solidifies her position as a global music icon.
