The program started with Atma Suddhi Pranayam Yoga by Mahendra Yogi of Fremont, Calif., and Ganpati Abhishekam, Sarva Devata and Devi Pujan and Havan, followed by Satsang by Acharya Krishna Pandey, founder and president of the temple. The event also featured bhajans and keertan by singers Vikash, Vinesh, Vishek and Mahima Shukla, and Bharatanatyam by Anitha Addagade. After Maha Mangal Aarti, Preeti bhoj was served.

Jose Esteves, Mayor of Milpitas, Calif., presented a certificate of recognition to the temple for spiritual and religious services to the community.
Ajay Jain Bhutoria asked to the community to come forward in support of the temple of Shiva Durga, dedicated to the famous Maa Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir, India, where Acharya Pandey has served during his 18 years of service in the Indian Army.
