Dressed earlier in white and later in white and red, symbolizing the cane of the blind, Sonu rendered melodious songs of Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar among others.
A tribute was given to legendary ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh and Ustad Mehdi Hasan.
Sonu’s dance on “Tujhe lage na najariya” got the audience all fired up. Young and old were clapping and thumping their feet with Sonu Niigaam during this song.

A unique part of the show was that the three generations of Niigaam were performed on the same stage. Sonu sang a song with his father. However the best was saved when his son, five-year-old Nevaan, was introduced to the audience. Holding him in his arms, Sonu presented the little singer who enthralled everyone with the song “Why this Kolaveri Di.”
An estimated 4,200 people came to this event. Sonu Niigaam was presented a plaque for donating to Sankara Eye Hospital in the name of his parents.
