Protests against release of “Article 15”

Mumbai (IANS) – Ayushmann Khurrana starrer crime drama and amp;#39;Article 15 and amp;#39; is facing backlash from the Brahmin community over the portrayal of the accused men in the film as brahmins. Several Brahmin groups in Nagpur and Bhopal staged demonstrations against the release of the film on Friday.

In the film, the crime was committed by one and lsquo;Mahantji ke ladke and #39;. Mahantji is mentioned as a Brahmin of the highest order and this has upset the Brahmin community.
