The purpose of the International Gita Conference is to raise awareness of the eternal message of the Bhagavad Gita. The conference is being held at the Sunnyvale Temple, July 18.
The perennial teachings and practices of the Bhagavad Gita offer practical solutions to every problem we face. It teaches us to connect with our divinity within, function at higher consciousness and reach our full potential by connecting body, mind and soul for maximum health, happiness, prosperity, and strong relationships.
The essence of Gita’s message is that the highest quality of life can be attained through spirituality, awakening our deeper self and connecting with the Creator and all His creations. Gita provides us with the tools needed for self-transformation. It helps us overcome the hardships of life, live happily and peacefully in the material world, and attain eternal happiness and peace — the very purpose of life. Gita provides wisdom, inspiration, comfort and solace to people of all ages, from all walks of life, and from all corners of the earth.
Ever since Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau wrote about the Gita, millions of people have found its message to be as relevant today in the West as it was for the people of India, 5,151 years ago. The message is not restricted to any religion. It is for all of humanity. Its secular and the universal teachings teach Hindus how to be better Hindus, it also teaches Muslims to be better Muslims, Christians to be better Christians, and Jews to be better Jews and so on.
Attending the conference will help you find solutions to daily problems and attain abundance, everlasting happiness, and peace.
The International Gita Conference (IGC) is being planned by Satya Kalra, founder of Path to Anandam, a non-profit organization in San Francisco Bay Area that is devoted to spreading the message of Bhagavad Gita.
Renowned spiritual leaders and delegates from around the world are participating, all with knowledge and practice of the teachings of Gita.
The event is FREE. But due to the limited space, register is recommended. Interested readers can register at: http://www.pathtoanandam.org/gita-conf/
