For longtime Bollywood fans—those who cheered for Akshay long before Reels and TikTok — “Housefull 5” is a chaotic blend of humor. Released on June 6, the latest installment surprises even seasoned fans with a twist: two different versions of the movie, each ending with its own chaotic climax. Fans are calling it a “comedy-wrapped suspense flick” with a “killer reveal.” The 5A version is already outpacing 5B in popularity, with triple the first-day audience.

More than just familiar slapstick, this time the franchise dives into genre-blending territory—marrying whodunnit intrigue with all-out lunacy. And yes, Akshay Kumar is back in full force, but the real surprise lies in the ensemble. Newcomers Sonam Bajwa and Soundarya Sharma light up the screen with sharp timing and flair, while returning veterans Fardeen Khan and Nana Patekar add nostalgic gravitas. Their chemistry with franchise regulars like Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, and Johnny Lever adds a dynamic generational flair.

The ensemble cast also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangda Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, and Nikitin Dheer—making this one of the most star-packed entries in the ‘Housefull’ universe yet.

Fans are in awe of Akshay Kumar’s return to comedic roles. “The only comedy sequel we deserve from Akshay Kumar,” quipped a fan on Reddit. Meanwhile, others are praising newcomer Sonam Bajwa’s authentic Punjabi delivery, with one X user noting, “That 20-second rant? Best I’ve heard in years.” With so much rave, “Housefull 5” is a must-watch and will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video in late July or early August.
