ABC suspended Kimmel in September after he went after MAGA’s reaction to Charlie Kirk’s assassination. FCC Chair Brendan Carr threatened the network, station groups pulled the show, and Disney caved under government pressure. Bad move. Hollywood unions went nuclear, Obama called it “government coercion,” and Disney’s stock tanked. The people spoke up loud and clear.

Kimmel returned to 6.2 million viewers—massive numbers for late-night in 2025.

While Kimmel fought that battle, Jeremy Allen White was quietly dominating. Three consecutive Golden Globes for The Bear. Two Emmys. Three SAG Awards. The show’s fourth season dropped this summer, and critics can’t stop talking about his performance as chef Carmy.

White appeared on Kimmel’s show on October 2nd and talks about his upcoming project: “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere.” White will be seen as Bruce Springsteen in the Biopic. Meanwhile, Kimmel’s roster of star appearances keeps getting better. Emily Blunt, Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Ryan Reynolds are some of the Hollywood A-listers on his show.
