Bill Gates All Praise for ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates says in a tough year like 2017, Akshay Kumar-starrer “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” emerged as one of the highlights for him.
The 62-year-old entrepreneur and philanthropist gave a 10-tweet rundown for the year that is nearing its end, sharing some of posts that inspired him in 2017.
“There’s no denying that 2017 was a really tough year…
but it also delivered some amazing moments of hope and progress. Here are some inspiring tweets that you may have missed,” Gates tweeted.
The business magnate shared a link discussing the importance of the Shree Narayan Singh directorial in addressing the health and hygiene issue which India continues to grapple with.
“‘Toilet: A Love Story’, a Bollywood romance about a newlywed couple, educated audiences about India’s sanitation challenge,” Gates wrote in the post, which was later retweeted by Akshay.
The film, released, Aug. 11, is based on the Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
