Vibe Check | The P-Word
The rumors are true. We have pivoted. Yes! The P-word. Like every other startup, we had a complete rethink of what Siliconeer stands for. The copy that you have in your hands has a completely new feel in content, aesthetics, and vision. While readers have enjoyed the fruits of our labor, we have also received numerous requests to devote our focus solely on the next big thing in Silicon Valley.
We hear you, readers, and now Siliconeer will become the Silicon Valley’s next generation’s dialogue. Our focus will be on technology, entrepreneurship, business, futurism, and pop culture. Some things remain unchanged, however. The heart of this magazine will still be unapologetically Gen-Z. And now, Gen-Alpha.
We have done a complete revamp of the layout of the magazine. We have improved the reading experience, and we are proud of what has been achieved. Once again, we are ahead of the curve from any mainstream periodical.
Mainstream magazines have a million-dollar revenue stream from advertising and subscription, and we still continue to distribute the magazine, free of charge. This magazine will be available in establishments where you go to unwind.
At Siliconeer we continue to change and evolve. We seek new ways to make our magazine a better read and a more satisfying aesthetic experience. So the makeover is not the end, but the beginning. We hope to bring many changes to you in the future. We really look forward to evolving into our exciting cyber-physical future.
Here’s a brief wish list, which we will implement as time and space allow.
A complete overhaul of the Siliconeer experience for a more immersive and engaging form of communication. A redesigned digital ecosystem delivering an enriching experience to you.
The ConCast will expand and have a stronger brand presence, bringing in a larger audience who prefer to consume content on their commutes/runs/walks/errands/wherever.
Sharper focus on relevant content and reach covering entrepreneurship, emerging tech, automotive, business, travel, lifestyle, and Gen-Z/Gen Alpha culture.
A separate digital hub for the community for untold stories, raw thoughts from community members, small/local businesses, and the latest community happenings.
Zooming out, our path to 2030 looks something like this:
Becoming the go-to publication for the heart of Silicon Valley.
Partner with organizations that are shaping the future.
Build sustainable revenue through content partnerships, sponsored features, and monetized media.
Some things will still remain the same, because they ought to.
We will remain just as committed to providing you with a compendium of well-written and interesting articles relevant to our readers. And we will continue to call ourselves Siliconeer. Given the current focus, the name fits the magazine like a glove. It’s a name that has helped establish our reputation across generations. It’s true Shakespeare once said: “What’s in a name?” but for once, we think a lot. So, here’s to a new Siliconeer with the same heart.
We will continue building our momentum. We promise to amplify the voices of the next generation. We will applaud and cheer those who challenge the status quo. We are sharpening our focus and covering the next-gen thinkers and builders in the Valley.
Thank you for patiently waiting. The new dialogue awaits. Onwards and Upwards!
