Fridman fasted for 45 hours before the interview “to get in the right mindset,” impressing Modi who shared how fasting enhances clarity and discipline. 

In a notable moment, Modi stated that “criticism is the soul of democracy,” emphasizing that democracy functions best with informed critique. The Prime Minister also discussed his diplomatic balancing act between Russia and Ukraine and his relationship with Donald Trump, highlighting their shared “nation-first” philosophies.
