South Asians in the Bay Area have many reasons to celebrate. Activities throughout this summer highlight South Asian culture, Indian pride, and representation in local government. Siliconeer presents glimpses of South Asian culture and arts being celebrated throughout the Bay Area.

Vice Mayor of Fremont, Calif., Raj Salwan, held a community gathering at the residence of Vinita and Ajay Jain Bhutoria. Profound community leaders, including Fremont Mayor, Lily Mei, ICC founder, Naren Bakshi, and OFBJP’s Chandru Bhambhra, among others, were present.
