Ranveer, 31, says that playing the character was a life-changing experience.

“A character that changed my life forever. Thank you Sanjay Sir @deepikapadukone @priyankachopra and TeamBM Unforgettable #1YearofBajiraoMastani,” Ranveer wrote on Twitter.

The film also starred Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra as ‘Mastani’ and ‘Kashibai.’

Deepika, who has previously worked with Bhansali in “Ram-Leela” alongside Ranveer, also celebrated the one-year anniversary of the film and thanked the director for her “most memorable role.”

“Thank You for giving me one of my most challenging and memorable characters and thank YOU all #sanjayleelabhansali #ranveersingh #priyankachopra #1yearofbajiraomastani,” she wrote along with a picture of herself and Bhansali holding trophies in both hands.

While, Priyanka tweeted, “Thank you for making #Kashibai such a memorable character. Love you Sanjay sir.

Ranveer and Deepika have once again collaborated with Bhansali for his upcoming film “Padmavati,” which also stars Shahid Kapoor.
