Gupta | Siliconeer]<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>When you need to entertain guests and manage between Silicon Valley\u2019s hectic workload, creative cooking is your answer, writes\u00a0<strong>Chef Sanjay Patel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>1 cup\u00a0<i>paneer<br \/>\n<\/i><b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>1 large potato<br \/>\n<b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>3 tbsp corn flour or breadcrumbs<br \/>\n<b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>2 tbsp\u00a0<i>maida<\/i>\u00a0(all purpose flour) made into a paste with 2 tbsp water<br \/>\n<b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>2 pinch turmeric powder<br \/>\n<b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>1\/3 tsp pepper powder<br \/>\n<b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>salt to taste<br \/>\n<b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00be cup cooking oil<br \/>\n<b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>sliced almonds<br \/>\n<b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>3 small ground green chili<br \/>\n<b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>1 in. piece ground ginger<br \/>\n<b>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>1 tsp cumin<\/p>\n<p><b>Method:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Boil and mash the potatoes and set aside. Crumble and shred the\u00a0<i>paneer<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>In a bowl add mashed potato, corn flour, turmeric, salt, pepper, ground paste of ginger, cumin and green chili to the crumbled and shredded\u00a0<i>paneer<\/i>. Mix well with hands. Check for salt.<\/p>\n<p>Divide into equal size balls and roll them with little pressure. While doing this coat cutlet with the sliced almonds and flatten it between the palm of your hands.<\/p>\n<p>Heat oil in a frying pan. Once it is medium hot, add the cutlets and fry for 1 minute per side and flip gently fry further for 30 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Using a slotted spoon remove the cutlet and drain in a paper towel.<\/p>\n<p>Makes a great cocktail snack.
