Gupta | Siliconeer)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>A rich, tangy and mild dish that is fit to be served to royalty and yet so easy to make. <b>Chef Sanjay Patel <\/b>shows how to make it at home.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>250 grams <i>paneer<\/i> (cottage cheese), grated<\/li>\n<li>2 medium onions,\u00a0cut in long thin pieces<\/li>\n<li>1 medium bell pepper, diced<\/li>\n<li>1\u201d piece of ginger, cut in long thin pieces<\/li>\n<li>8 pcs. garlic, cut in long thin pieces<\/li>\n<li>3 small cardamom<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd oz. broken cashew nuts<\/li>\n<li>1&#8243; piece of cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>4 tbsp ghee or cooking oil<\/li>\n<li>3 medium tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp red chili powder<\/li>\n<li>1-2 glasses of milk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Method:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Heat ghee or cooking oil in a pan.\u00a0Add onion, ginger, garlic, cinnamon and cardamom.\u00a0Fry till the onions become light brown in color.<\/p>\n<p>Now take this mixture out of the ghee and place in blender along with the tomato and blend to a puree.<\/p>\n<p>Then fry the paste in ghee again for 4 to 5 minutes. Add salt to taste, then diced bell peppers, cashew nut pieces and chili powder.\u00a0Add grated paneer and fry for two to three minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Add milk and cook till the gravy becomes thick.<\/p>\n<p>Garnish with chopped cilantro and a drizzle of fresh cream.<\/p>\n<p>Serve hot with <i>Naan, rotis <\/i>or rice pilaf.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Akbari Paneer (Amar D.
