Gupta\/Siliconeer)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A feast to go with the cold wintry evening chill and your favorite drink, here\u2019s a vegetarian appetizer\/snack recipe that hot, spicy and delicious. <strong>Chef Sanjay Patel <\/strong>shows you how to make it at home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\u00a0cauliflower\u00a0(about 2 cups florets)<\/li>\n<li>4\u00a0tbsp\u00a0plain flour<\/li>\n<li>3\u00a0tbsp\u00a0corn flour\u00a0or rice flour<\/li>\n<li>1\u00bd\u00a0tsp\u00a0ginger garlic paste<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0tsp\u00a0garam masala<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc\u00a0pepper powder<\/li>\n<li>1\u00a0tsp\u00a0red chili powder\u00a0(can use more)<\/li>\n<li>2\u00a0sprigs\u00a0curry leaves<\/li>\n<li>salt\u00a0to taste<\/li>\n<li>water\u00a0as needed<\/li>\n<li>oil for deep frying<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Seasoning for Gobhi 65<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2\u00a0green chilies\u00a0slit &amp; deseeded<\/li>\n<li>2\u00a0cloves\u00a0garlic<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0tsp\u00a0cumin<\/li>\n<li>1\u00a0sprig\u00a0curry leaves<\/li>\n<li>1\u00a0tbsp\u00a0oil<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0tsp\u00a0red chili powder<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc\u00a0tsp garam masala<\/li>\n<li>2 to 3\u00a0tbsp\u00a0curd<\/li>\n<li>salt as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heat 3 cups water in a pot. Turn off the stove. Drop the cauliflower florets and rest for 2 to 3 mins. Rinse them well and drain completely.<\/p>\n<p>Add flour, <em>garam masala<\/em>, salt, red chili powder, ginger and garlic to a bowl. Chop 1 sprig curry leaves and add it to the mix.\u00a0Pour water and make a batter. The batter must not be too thin or too thick.<\/p>\n<p>Add cauliflower florets to the batter. Coat them well. Heat oil in a frying pan. When the oil is hot, drop the florets to the pan. Deep fry the florets on a medium heat till golden and crisp. Set aside on a oil-soaking kitchen towel. Fry 1 sprig curry leaves in the oil. Set this aside for garnishing.<\/p>\n<p>Gobhi 65<\/p>\n<p>Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Fry garlic, chili, curry leaves and cumin. When the curry leaves turn crisp, add yogurt, chili powder and <em>garam masala<\/em>. Stir and let the mixture cook till it thickens. Add the fried cauliflower and saut\u00e9 for 2 to 3 minutes.
