(AFP\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Anushka Sharma has said turning vegetarian was one of the best decisions of her life.<\/p>\n<p>The 30-year-old actor, who has been a vegetarian for over three years, says she started feeling healthier after switching to a vegetarian diet.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Going vegetarian was one of the best decisions I ever made. I have more energy, I feel healthier, and I&#8217;m so happy that no animals had to suffer for my meals,&#8221; Anushka said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Pari&#8221; actor has recently shot a a new campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India that proclaims, &#8220;I Am Anushka Sharma, and I&#8217;m a Vegetarian.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The advertisement has been shot by ace photographer Mazen AbusrouR.<\/p>\n<p>Anushka has j0ined Lara Dutta, Sonu Sood, Shahid Kapoor, Esha Gupta, R Madhavan, and many other celebrities who have teamed up with PETA India to promote healthy, meat-free meals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anushka Sharma attends the launch of her new clothing brand &#8216;NUSH&#8217; in Mumbai on Oct. 3.
