(Vittorio Zunino Celotto\/Getty Images for DIFF)<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Director Akarsh Khurrana, who is looking forward to his film &#8220;Karwaan,&#8221; says he was initially in awe of his leading man Irrfan Khan.<\/p>\n<p>Khurrana, a well-known name in Mumbai theatre scene who directed \u201cHigh Jack,\u201d said he was bit nervous about collaborating with an exceptional actor like Irrfan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIrrfan is one of the finest actors in Bollywood. I was in awe for the first few days. But then I realized that he is very accessible and normal. He seemed to be happy with the way things were going,\u201d the director said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>He said what he liked the most about Irrfan is that he has a process and does his homework.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s normal and chatty, and then when the cameras roll he transforms into this whole new persona, with a wide range of emotions. We had a ball of a time while shooting for the film and now that he is away&#8230; we all are missing him,\u201d he added about the actor, who is currently in London undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine tumor.<\/p>\n<p>The film also stars Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKarwaan\u201d revolves around three oddballs from different walks of life who are thrown together in a bizarre journey which helps them find normalcy in their lives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKarwaan\u201d is produced by Ronnie Screwvala\u2019s RSVP in association with Priti Rathi Gupta of Ishka films.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Irrfan Khan attends a photocall on day three of the 14th annual Dubai International Film Festival held at the Madinat Jumeriah Complex on Dec. 8, 2017 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
