(Manvender Vashist\/PTI)<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Filmmaker Boney Kapoor received wife Sridevi\u2019s posthumous Best Actress honor at the National Film Awards, May 3, says it was a special moment for the family and they missed her a lot. Daughters Janhvi and Khushi accompanied Kapoor to the ceremony.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Sridevi, who died at the age of 54 in Dubai on Feb. 24, won the award for her portrayal of a revenge-seeking mother in Hindi film \u201cMom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wish she was here. She truly deserved this award. It\u2019s so unfortunate that she is not here with us today to celebrate. I am grateful to the Government of India, the I&amp;B Ministry and the jury. It is a proud moment for all of us but sadly she is not here,\u201d Boney told reporters ahead of the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Janhvi said, \u201cI want to thank the jury and the Government of India for recognizing the hard work my mother has done. It is very special for us as a family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sridevi and her \u201cChandni\u201d co-star Vinod Khanna were recognized posthumously at the National Film Awards this year.<\/p>\n<p>Khanna was named this year\u2019s Dadasaheb Phalke award winner.
