Several celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan wished Anushka Sharma and Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli a happy married life, after the duo tied the knot in Italy, Dec. 11.<\/p>\n

Anushka and Virat ended days of suspense and media speculation about their wedding plans by getting married in a private ceremony. It was attended by close family members and friends, at a resort in Tuscany, Italy.<\/p>\n

Bachchan wished the newly married couple \u201ctogetherness always.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnushka and Virat, love and wishes for this auspicious day… Togetherness always!\u201d he tweeted.<\/p>\n

It was in Shah Rukh\u2019s \u201cRab Ne Bana Di Jodi\u201d that Anushka made her Bollywood debut. The film released exactly on this date (Dec. 12), in 2008.<\/p>\n

\u201cAb yeh hui na real Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (Now this is what I call real Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi). My love to both Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. May God bless you with happiness and health,\u201d Shah Rukh, who worked with her in \u201cJab Tak Hai Jaan\u201d and \u201cJab Harry Met Sejal,\u201d tweeted.<\/p>\n

Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar wrote, \u201cCongratulations and best wishes to the just married Virat and Anushka. You both look wonderful together.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cToday we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you,\u201d Sharma and Kohli said on Twitter, posting pictures of the wedding ceremony.<\/p>\n

The bride looked resplendent in a pink Sabyasachi wedding lehenga<\/i>, while the groom looked dapper in a color-coordinated sherwani<\/i> from the same designer.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey,\u201d they said in identical tweets.<\/p>\n

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who directed Sharma in his last venture \u201cAe Dil Hai Mushkil\u201d tweeted, \u201cHuge congratulations and tons of love to Anushka and Virat. Beautiful couple and I wish them and their loved ones the best years ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Actor Shahid Kapoor, who worked with Sharma in \u201cBadmaash Company,\u201d tweeted, \u201cSo wonderful. Many congratulations to both the families.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kajol wrote, \u201cBest of luck Virat and Anushka. Good wishes galore… Your combo I\u2019m sure will work beautifully.\u201d<\/p>\n
