A 13-year-old student from India recounts her unforgettable five-day school trip to Singapore. From racing friends on luge tracks to building solar cars and watching magical light shows,\u00a0Shreeya Jain<\/strong>\u00a0recounts her thrilling adventures in the Lion City.<\/p>\n

Recently, I went on a school trip to Singapore with my friends, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable adventures of my life. From thrilling rides to stunning views, every day brought excitement.<\/p>\n

Day 1: Sentosa Island and Gardens by the Bay<\/b><\/h4>\n

Our first day took us to Sentosa Island, which was packed with excitement. I tried the SkyHelix ride and the cable car, which gave us an amazing view of Mount Faber. The luge ride was the highlight\u2014I even raced my friends down the track! Not sure who was the winner, but I want to believe it\u2019s me.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, we headed to Gardens by the Bay, where we explored the Cloud Forest and marveled at the Jurassic Park-themed floral display. The towering plants and misty atmosphere made it feel like stepping into another world\u2014one made for the dinosaurs. That evening, we watched the \u201cWings of Time\u201d show, which was absolutely magical with its dazzling lights, fireworks, and synchronized music.<\/p>\n

Day 2: Science, Symbols, and Skylines<\/b><\/h4>\n

We spent the morning at the Science Centre and Omni Theatre, where I learned fascinating new facts about everything from space to technology. Then came the moment I\u2019d been waiting for\u2014we visited the iconic Merlion statue at Merlion Park. As Singapore\u2019s official mascot, the half-lion, half-fish statue is a must-see landmark.<\/p>\n

We capped off the day with a river cruise, gliding along the Singapore River and taking in the city\u2019s glittering skyline. Watching the modern skyscrapers light up against the evening sky was breathtaking.<\/p>\n

Day 3: NTU University and Orchard Road<\/b><\/h4>\n

On our third day, our school arranged a special workshop at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), one of Singapore\u2019s most advanced universities. We had an engaging session on problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and I even got to build a miniature solar car! The students there shared what campus life is like in Singapore, which was really interesting. Not as interesting as what came next.<\/p>\n

Later, we went shopping on Orchard Road and to Ngee Ann City Mall. We explored the bustling streets and browsed through luxury stores. Like any tourist, I picked up some souvenirs for my friends and family back home.<\/p>\n

Day 4: Universal Studios Singapore<\/b><\/h4>\n

This was my favorite day! We spent the entire day at Universal Studios, and it was pure fun from start to finish. I screamed my lungs out on the rollercoasters and tried as many rides as I could. I even sampled the famous Shrek waffle, which was both hilarious to look at and surprisingly tasty. The whole park felt like walking through a movie set, and I loved every minute of it.<\/p>\n

Day 5: Marina Bay Sands<\/b><\/h4>\n

On our last day before heading home, we visited the observation deck at Marina Bay Sands Hotel. From the top, we could see the entire city sprawling below us. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Singapore\u2019s beauty had me mesmerized. I didn\u2019t want the trip to end, but it was time to say goodbye to Singapore.<\/p>\n

Memories to Cherish Forever<\/b><\/h3>\n

This trip was like one of those friends-going-on-vacation movies. Memories and unforgettable experiences will be cherished forever. Five days were short for this truly majestic city. It is the city that says, \u201cThank you, come again!\u201d<\/p>\n
