Sankara Eye Foundation\u2019s Dandia event mixed culture, which celebrates the essence of Navratri, along with connecting to groups supporting good causes to make this event about philanthropy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Raas is a traditional folk dance from the state of Gujarat and is performed in honor of Goddess Durga during Navratri. With Dandias in hand, pairs of dancers form a circle and strike their sticks rhythmically in sync with the beats of the music.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Women twirled in their vibrantly colored lehengas, while men donned traditional kurtas, both equally eager to showcase their dancing skills. The atmosphere was alive with anticipation, as people warmed up with small sways and claps till the real action began.
