(Pic: Apple)<\/picture><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"hero-headline\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Innovations in clean energy, materials, and recycling are driving progress toward Apple\u2019s ambitious environmental goals<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Apple has reduced its overall greenhouse gas emissions by more than 55 percent since 2015, the company shared today in its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/2030\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">2024 Environmental Progress Report<\/a>. The milestone marks important progress on the journey toward Apple 2030, the company\u2019s ambitious goal to become carbon neutral across its entire value chain by the end of this decade. The goal centers on cutting emissions by 75 percent from 2015 levels.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"pagebody text component\">\n<div class=\"component-content\">\n<div class=\"pagebody-copy\">\u201cThe proof of Apple\u2019s commitment to climate action is in our progress: We\u2019ve slashed emissions by more than half, all while serving more users than ever before,\u201d said Lisa Jackson, Apple\u2019s vice president of Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives. \u201cMore hard work is ahead of us, and we\u2019re focused on harnessing the power of innovation and collaboration to maximize our impact.\u201d<\/div>\n<div class=\"pagebody-copy\">Teams across Apple and its global supply chain have contributed to Apple 2030 and the company\u2019s environmental efforts, driving innovations in clean energy and energy efficiency, materials, carbon removal, water stewardship, zero waste, and recycling.
