It\u2019s satisfying, delicious and filling, writes <strong>Sudha Gupta.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 large potatoes (Boiled and peeled)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup peanuts\u00a0(crushed and roasted)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup onions\u00a0(finely chopped)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup cilantro (finely chopped)<\/li>\n<li>3 tsp. ginger\u00a0(finely chopped)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. green chili paste<\/li>\n<li>salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp. black salt<\/li>\n<li>pinch of black pepper<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp. roasted cumin powder<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp. red chili powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp. <em>garam masala<\/em><\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup sprouted moong<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>PLEASE NOTE:<\/em><\/strong><em> The original recipe of Churmur uses \u201cpakore\u201d soaked in semi-sweet salty water, crumpled in the mix, and tamarind chutney instead of lemon juice. Our recipe is a variation of the original.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For garnish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bc cup green coriander sauce<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup tamarind sauce<\/li>\n<li><em>Bhujiya<\/em> or thin <em>sev<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Coriander leaves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a bowl, mash the potatoes, add sprouted moong, and chopped onions.<br \/>\nAdd chopped ginger and green chili paste and mix well.<br \/>\nNow add salt, black salt, black pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, red chili powder, sugar, and <em>garam masala<\/em>.<br \/>\nMix everything together.<br \/>\nAdd chopped coriander and lemon juice and mix well.<\/p>\n<p>Make small balls<\/p>\n<p><strong>For garnishing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Put thin <em>sev<\/em> or <em>bhujiya<\/em> in a plate, roll each ball in the <em>sev <\/em>or <em>bhujiya,<\/em><br \/>\nLay them on a plate, put 1 tsp. tamarind sauce on each ball, \u00bd tsp. coriander sauce and some coriander leaves on top.
