Caruso has confirmed that the actress will return in the next installment of the \u201cxXx\u201d franchise, alongside Hollywood action star Vin Diesel.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The latest movie, \u201cxXx: Return of Xander Cage,\u201d which marked the 31-year-old Indian actress\u2019 Hollywood debut, also starred Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Samuel L. Jackson and Tony Jaa, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Recalling the shooting days, Rose took to Instagram and hinted at starting the next \u201cxXx\u201d film soon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd while I\u2019m here I can\u2019t forget my training for Adele in \u2018xXx\u2019&#8230; but&#8230; more new exciting news on that soon ;),\u201d wrote the actress, alongside a picture from the sets of the film.<\/p>\n<p>A fan took a screenshot of the post and wrote to Caruso on Twitter asking if the new film is in works.<\/p>\n<p>The director replied in a series of tweets confirming the news.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes meetings next week. Honing in on story and start dates,\u201d he wrote back.<\/p>\n<p>When another fan asked, \u201c@Deejaycar Serena Unger Aka Deepika is there in #xXx4?\u201d, Caruso replied, \u201cOh Yes!&#8230; All coming back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In Bollywood, Deepika is currently busy filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali\u2019s magnum opus \u201cPadmavati.\u201d The actress has also signed an upcoming Vishal Bhardwaj production.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Deepika Padukone at the LA Premiere of &#8216;xXx: Return of Xander Cage&#8217; at TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX, Jan. 19, in Hollywood, Calif.
