Coming out of a larger-than-life role like \u201cBaahubali\u201d and its stupendous success is difficult, says Prabhas who admits to withdrawal symptoms and being more \u2018Baahubali\u2019 than himself in the last five years, writes Bedika.<\/b><\/p>\n

Already a huge star in Telugu cinema, Prabhas is basking in the pan India glory of his blockbuster hit. He did not sign any other film while shooting for \u201cBaahubali.\u201d The gamble paid off\u2014and how.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is always difficult to move on from something that you have been associated with for this long. In these five years, \u2018Baahubali\u2019 has not been a part of my life, it has been my life. I have been more of \u2018Baahubali\u2019 than my own self in these years,\u201d Prabhas told PTI in an interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, withdrawal symptoms are natural but what\u2019s overpowering right now is all the love that people across the nation are showering on me,\u201d said the 37-year-old.<\/p>\n

Made in two parts, \u201cBaahubali: The Beginning\u201d and \u201cBaahubali: The Conclusion,\u201d the S.S. Rajamouli-directed CGI-heavy fantasy drama is breaking all records.<\/p>\n

The movie, whose second part released, April 28, continues its run in theatres with collections of Rs. 1,600 plus crore. The Hindi version alone earned Rs. 500 crore.<\/p>\n

Its impending China release is expected to help it cross the Rs. 2,000 crore figure at the box office.<\/p>\n

Prabhas, who has become something of a rage with his portrayal of the heroic character and his son in the royal drama, says he always knew that doing this film would be \u201ca once in a lifetime opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Buzz has already begun of a Bollywood debut with Rajamouli and Karan Johar, who distributed the Hindi version of the film. But Prabhas isn\u2019t giving anything away.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no immediate plan but it will be quite interesting. Working with Rajamouli and Karan is home ground for me now having worked with them for such a long time. But I think \u2018Baahubali\u2019 has paved the way for pan Indian films.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor can\u2019t stop praising Rajamouli and says he is fascinated by the director\u2019s ability to transform his vision into reality.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow much ever I talk about Rajamouli Sir will be less.<\/p>\n

To call him a genius is an understatement. He doesn\u2019t only have a powerful vision but also knows of ways and means to make that come to life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though \u201cBaahubali\u201d continues to make waves, Prabhas has already moved on to his next project \u2014\u201cSaaho,\u201d which he says will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy character in \u2018Saaho\u2019 is completely contrasting to my character in \u2018Baahubali\u2019 and I am quite excited about it. It is too early to reveal anything about the film yet but all I can say that we have the best teams working, we have a massive vision for it and it\u2019s conceptually very strong.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
