(Press Trust of India)<\/div><\/div><\/figcaption><\/figure><div class=\"fg-loader\"><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<p>The 23-year-old singer, who was in India as part of the Asia leg of his \u201cPurpose World Tour,\u201d is believed to have left the country, contrary to reports that he would visit New Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, said an organizer.<\/p>\n<p>Director Anurag Basu, amongst the many thousands who packed into the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai with his daughter, a huge Bieber fan, said the \u201cCold Water\u201d singer was \u201cnot prepared.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would have been happy if he would have sung all songs live. He only sang four songs live. An artist of his caliber should sing live. He was not prepared,\u201d Basu told PTI.<\/p>\n<p>Another fan at the event said, \u201cI attended Coldplay\u2019s concert and I think that was much better than this. Justin\u2019s performance was low on energy and the worst part was he was lip-syncing to many of his songs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A couple who had flown in from Pune and paid Rs. 36,000 per pass said Bieber\u2019s lip-syncing was quite a turn-off. \u201cIt\u2019s quite clear that he is not singing these songs,\u201d the husband said.<\/p>\n<p>Bharti Mamgain, a banker who accompanied her 10-year-old daughter Ria to the show, was equally upset. \u201cI wish I had not paid a bomb for this awful concert.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian singer faced huge flak on social media as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBieber was so bad it was hilarious. He had the stage presence of <i>khichdi<\/i>. Plus <i>kaafi<\/i> lip sync. (Lucky that my tickets were free :D),\u201d AIB comic Ashish Shakya said on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Taking a jibe at Bieber\u2019s hit \u201cSorry,\u201d a user wrote, \u201cSo Justin Bieber was lip syncing&#8230; Is it too late to say sorry now?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople paid 76K for seeing Justin lip sync to his own songs. Like seriously? #JustinBieberIndia #JustinBieberIndia,\u201d added another Twitter user.<\/p>\n<p>Bieber\u2019s performance started around 8 pm, several hours after fans had gathered in the stadium. He was on stage for over one-and-half hours, singing hit numbers like \u201cBaby,\u201d \u201cSorry,\u201d \u201cNo Sense,\u201d \u201cCompany,\u201d \u201cNo Pressure\u201d and \u201cHold Tight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bollywood bigwigs, including Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Malaika Arora, Arbaaz Khan, Raveena Tandon and Arjun Rampal, were spotted at the venue with their kids.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A fan kisses a picture of Justin Bieber ahead of his concert at the D.Y.
