She has recently locked three Bollywood projects after her arrival from New York.<\/p>\n

Priyanka, 34, said she is fine with giving her introduction to people who do not know her.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t say that if we are stars in India we will be stars everywhere. That\u2019s not cool. Every country has different celebrities. So, I never expected that.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am okay to walk into a room and introduce myself as, \u2018Hello, I am Priyanka Chopra. I am an Indian actor.\u2019 There\u2019s nothing small about it, our achievements are quite big,\u201d Priyanka told reporters.<\/p>\n

The actress said the American media was never mean to her \u201cexcept a few\u201d and she never felt insignificant on a foreign film set.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t seen them (American press) being that good to any other Indian actor if you think like that. They have been loving, friendly and encouraging of me…<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are one-fifth of the world\u2019s population so, our representation in world cinema is legit. It\u2019s on us, we have to make sure we are good enough. But I don\u2019t feel small when I walk in a foreign set,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Priyanka\u2019s maiden Hollywood film \u201cBaywatch\u201d releases on May 25.<\/p>\n

Priyanka Locks Three Bollywood Projects<\/b><\/p>\n

Priyanka Chopra has said she is in final talks to work in three Hindi films and will make the announcement soon.<\/p>\n

Priyanka, who wrapped up the second season of her TV show \u201cQuantico\u201d last month, said she will take the final call on the same after the makers decide the future of the American series.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what\u2019s happening with the third season of \u2018Quantico.\u2019 I am listening to a lot of scripts. Several filmmakers have come and met me in New York and I\u2019ve met them here (in Mumbai).<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a lot of scripts I liked but once I know what my schedule is, only then I\u2019ll figure out when I\u2019ll do a film. For sure I\u2019ve locked three (films). But I can\u2019t announce them till I know my dates,\u201d Priyanka told reporters here during the launch of the new poster of her upcoming Hollywood debut \u201cBaywatch.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old star has been rumored to join the Kalpana Chawla biopic and a Sanjay Leela Bhansali project based on poet-lyricist Sahir Ludhyanvi\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

When asked if she has signed the Kalpana Chawla biopic, Priyanka said, \u201cMy name gets attached to a lot of films. But I can\u2019t comment a \u2018yes\u2019 or \u2018no\u2019 unless my dates get sorted out.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress, who arrived in India recently, said she missed doing Hindi films.<\/p>\n

\u201cI definitely miss Hindi films. This is my home, this is my industry. I\u2019ve had so much fun meeting these people in the last couple of days. It has been a wonderful homecoming.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
