\u201cPolice have registered an FIR on our complaint in Jammu and Kashmir. Law will take its course,\u201d acting Director General of CRPF Sudeep Lakhtakia told PTI in New Delhi.<\/p>\n

The Jammu and Kashmir government said stern action would be taken against those involved in such incidents.<\/p>\n

Sources said the police have identified the youths who attacked the CRPF personnel and action against them is expected soon.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, Inspector General of CRPF Ravideep Singh Sahi told PTI in Srinagar, \u201cDuring investigation, we found that the video is authentic. We have identified the company of the force involved and the location of the incident.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sahi said the incident happened in Kralpora area in the Chadoora assembly segment in central Kashmir\u2019s Budgam district.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have gathered all the facts and officially intimated the Chadoora police station.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will legally deal with those who did that to our jawans. We will follow it up in a strong way,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

In Jammu, Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh said, \u201cThere will be stern action against perpetrators. Such incidents are not acceptable at all. Action will be taken.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a very unfortunate incident. It\u2019s noteworthy how jawans were patient. Our security forces are disciplined.<\/p>\n

Jawans have maintained extreme calm,\u201d he told reporters after inaugurating the four-day Jammu Mahotsav.<\/p>\n

Gambhir, Sehwag tweet in support of attacked CRPF Jawans<\/b><\/p>\n

Indian cricket stars Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir have come out in support of CRPF jawans who were attacked by stone pelters in Srinagar during elections in the Kashmir valley.<\/p>\n

Images of a stone pelter hitting a CRPF jawan have emerged soon after the elections, leaving the nation enraged.<\/p>\n

Both the ace cricketers expressed their anger on social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor every slap on my army\u2019s Jawan lay down at least a 100 jihadi lives. Whoever wants Azadi LEAVE NOW! Kashmir is ours. #kashmirbelongs2us,\u201d an angry Gambhir wrote on his twitter handle.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnti-Indians hav forgotten dat our flag also stands 4: saffron – fire of our anger, white – shroud for jihadis, green – hatred 4 terror,\u201d Gambhir wrote in another tweet.<\/p>\n

Sehwag was also disturbed by the images.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is Unacceptable ! Cant do this to our CRPF jawaans.<\/p>\n
