\u201cI was always intrigued by one aspect of life and that is the life of people who are always in power,\u201d Bachchan told reporters at the trailer launch of \u201cSarkar 3,\u201d in Mumbai, March 1.<\/p>\n

The National Award-winning actor, who entered the world of politics for a brief period, believes politicians are normal people but their life is not as easy as it seems.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is not as easy and transparent as it seems to people from outside. They are individuals and they lead a normal life.<\/p>\n

But they are given power which gives them a certain kind of access to action and deeds that affect millions of people.<\/p>\n

Where it (power) comes from is guarded by their own political belief and the political party,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

BigB had many discussions with director Ram Gopal Varma about his character of \u2018Subhash Nagre Patil\u2019 in \u201cSarkar.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat intrigued me was every powerful person has a family, home and people who are close to him. And no home is known to be perfect… there are opinions, view points and differences of opinion. What if this person who is considered to be the number one person of the state, country or universe, has a member of his family who disagrees with him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd what if that powerful man is irritated with that member of the family. If you are irritated, your decision affects millions of people and life. So we discussed all this,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Bachchan believes that writer and director are the backbone of every film.<\/p>\n

\u201cI follow what the director says. The director tells me how a certain scene needs to be be done. If we are preparing for the scene at home we have a different notion, and when we come on the sets we find it is completely wrong,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe there is no scope for argument on the sets. If I have any disagreement, I do it at the time of narration. I feel debate, discussion, agreement or disagreement should happen off the sets and on the sets you must follow the director.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bachchan has been a constant feature in the \u201cSarkar\u201d series but said all three films have been difficult.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn every film we have to work hard. My work also depends on my co-stars. All three (his roles in the three films) have been difficult,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Besides Bachchan, \u201cSarkar 3\u201d boasts of a stellar star cast, including Jackie Shroff, Supriya Pathak, Rohini Hattangadi, Ronit Roy, Amit Sadh and Yami Gautam.<\/p>\n

The film is set to release in April.<\/p>\n

On another note, Amitabh Bachchan has come out in support of gender equality, saying his son Abhishek and daughter Shweta Nanda will have an equal share in his property.<\/p>\n

The actor, 74, posted a picture on Twitter where he is seen holding a placard that read, \u201c#WeAreEqual… and #genderequality… the picture says it all!!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I die, my assets will be equally shared between my daughter and my son! #genderequality…<\/p>\n

#WeAreEqual.\u201d<\/p>\n
