(Press Trust of India)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Amitabh Bachchan has spend 48 glorious years in the Indian film industry and the megastar shared a series of nostalgic pictures to mark the occasion. \u2013 @siliconeer #siliconeer #Bollywood @Bollywood #AmitabhBachchan #BigB @AmitabhBachchan @BigB<b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The 74-year-old actor took to his blog where he posted on-set pictures clicked during the shooting of his debut film \u201cSaat Hindustani.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is an avalanche of events related to this date the 15<sup>th<\/sup> of February&#8230; For on this date in the year of the Lord 1969&#8230;Yes that is nineteen sixty nine&#8230; I became an official entrant to the film industry, by signing my very first film, \u2018Saat Hindustani,\u2019\u201d Bachchan wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The star also shared photos from the premiere of the film for which he sported a Persian jacket which his friend got from Iran.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the premiere of the film. Mr Gujral was the I&amp;B Minister, later to become PM for a short while, Abbas saheb and yours truly, dressed somewhat in Persian attire.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was shooting for \u2018Reshma Aur Shera\u2019 in Jaisalmer with Sunil Dutt and Waheeda Rehman and had come down for this event &#8230; The Persian jacket is a borrowed one from a friend who had either just come back from Iran, or was presented one from one who had just returned from there,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Bachchan also celebrated 44 years of his film \u201cBandhe Haath,\u201d 27years of \u201cAgneepath,\u201d and 10 years of \u201cEklavya.\u201d All the three films were released on February 16.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amitabh Bachchan with Divya Dutta, (r), during the launch of her book \u201cMe &amp; Ma,\u201d in Mumbai, Feb. 9.
