Kareena, who is the brand ambassador for Lakm\u00e9 was the muse for Dongre\u2019s Summer\/Resort Collection which was inspired by liquid gold\/argan oil, the main component of the new range of lipsticks by the beauty company.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old actress, who welcomed her son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi in December last year, says she never felt hesitant when she was approached to be show stopper for the finale.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am walking the ramp just 46 days after giving birth to my son. I don\u2019t think that it was a big deal to do. I was happy when I was approached with the idea,\u201d Kareena told PTI.<\/p>\n

The actress slayed the runway like a boss as she strutted her stuff wearing a white maxi dress teamed with a soft gold long jacket around the amphitheater venue much to the delight of shutterbugs and guests.<\/p>\n

Incidentally the actress is also the face of Dongre\u2019s western wear brand \u201cAnd.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a great association with Anita. She is very inspirational, not just to me but to all women across the country who relate to her clothes and wear her brand,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

Internationally acclaimed make-up artist Donald Simrock, whose client list includes popular name like Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj, did Kareena\u2019s make-up for the show.<\/p>\n

Kareena\u2019s designer friend Manish Malhotra, actress Sangeeta Bijlani, Diana Penty, Gul Panag, Shabana Azmi, Juhi Chawla were present during the show to cheer the actress from the sidelines during the show.<\/p>\n

When asked why her husband Saif Ali Khan was not present at the show, Kareena says the actor is busy taking care of Taimur at home.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am lucky that I have such an amazing husband. He is very supportive. So whenever I am out working, he takes care of our baby.\u201d<\/p>\n

For her latest collection titled \u201cAlchemy,\u201d Dongre has used handcrafted embroidery, a portion of which has been done in Jaipur. She has also involved her signature gota-patti <\/i>work and combined it with new detailing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have kept the it very light because it is summer and you don\u2019t want to be bogged down. There is embroidery but I have kept it minimal. It feel like you are very nothing.
